Patterson High Tackles Teen Obesity - News10.net(Childhood Obesity News)

Out of more than 300 students, doctors and nutritionists from local hospitals found that 66 students in the incoming class at Patterson High were obese. Arturo Vargas, owner of Taste for the Senses came to the school to show parents how they can prepare traditional meals without the fat. The 15-year-old is now fighting a battle to ward off the many diseases that come along with obesity. If a teen is trying to lose weight, doctors say they are more likely to be successful if their entire family adopts healthy eating habits. Read Childhood Obesity
