Normal School Combats Obesity - Central Illinois Proud- Childhood Obesity News

Should the city of Peoria spend $30-thousand dollars to change its logo? A Normal school will be among 12 schools in the state which will begin implementing the CATCH program- Coordinated Approach to Child Health. It’s part of a statewide effort to combat childhood obesity by affecting children’s attitudes and behaviors toward nutrition and physical activity. Among the schools in our area which will be implementing CATCH in the 2008-2009 school year include Prairieland Elementary School in Normal. Read Childhood Obesity
