Some schools have begun fighting childhood obesity in the classroom as part of a study conducted by Temple University. Over a two-year period, five school in Philadelphia curbed snacks, swapped sodas for juice and gave parents, students and teachers lessons on healthy eating. As a result, fewer children were reported to have weight problems than those who did not make any changes to their menu. We should have every school in the nation being able to this - and it does take work,” said nutritionist Litz Julien. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten, or redistributed.
