The philanthropic arm of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida is set to announce funding of a major statewide campaign to battle childhood obesity in Florida. Details on the program will not be released until the press conference at the city’s Prime Osborn Convention Center. The Blue Foundation focuses its philanthropy on improving access to health care, particularly Floridians who are uninsured and under-insured.
