Community Markets will be teaming up with Food For All, the food industry’s fundraising organization, for its GoZonkers Early Childhood Obesity program, now through Sept. Customers will have the opportunity to select a coupon, the cashier will scan it and the amount will be added to their final bill. Upon conclusion of the fundraiser, proceeds will benefit the GoZonkers program, which brings in-class exercise and nutrition programs to select local elementary schools. The GoZonkers Early Childhood Obesity program provides convenient, fun, in-class exercise programs for kindergarten through sixth-grade students with a goal of preventing childhood obesity and early chronic diseases. Food For All is a non-profit fundraising organization that partners with more than 8,000 retailers to run point-of-purchase programs all over the country.
