REVERE-A healthy breakfast is part of the school day throughout the public schools thanks to a partnership between Chartwells Dining Services and Project Bread. Chartwells, a national supplier of school meals, and the Harvard School of Public Health worked with Project Bread to develop the breakfast program. The company is also working with Massachusetts General Hospital and Revere CARES to reduce the incidence and prevalence of childhood obesity. Results will be measured to see if the better-for-you foods and increased physical activity change the students BMI - resulting in a healthier student population for Revere Schools.
