Center for Closing the Health Gap wins $225K grant - Triangle Business Journal- Childhood Obesity News

The Center for Closing the Health Gap will use a $225,000 grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to promote healthy eating in Cincinnati’s Avondale neighborhood, the group said Tuesday. The center said it will partner with three Avondale churches to improve the availability of healthy foods and community gardening for local residents, as well as provide education about childhood obesity. The Center for Closing the Health Gap promotes awareness about disparities in health care with the goal of improving the health of minority groups in Greater Cincinnati.
