Tampa, Florida–I found an interesting article about how the governor of New York plans to raise millions of dollars. The governor of New York is proposing an obesity tax to raise about 400 million dollars a way. For example, a can of regular soda would cost 15 cents more than a diet soda. Health officials say the tax would help fight childhood obesity while the National Beverage Association says lack of exercise and genetics are to blame for childhood obesity.
