BREVARD is for children 5 to 12 years of age, and their parents, and provides wellness education. This event is designed for children 5 to 12 years of age, and their parents, and provides education on nutrition, exercise and wellness. Many more may be at risk for obesity if proper nutrition and exercise are not incorporated into daily routines to reverse the trend. Adding excitement to this event will be  appearances from sports celebrities, giveaways, an interactive health fair, and physical activities such as a climbing wall, bounce house, skateboard ramp (bring your own equipment), relay races, obstacle courses, a golf clinic and soccer drills. Since 1996, the Brevard Healthcare Forum has been sponsored by Florida Institute of Technology and served as a county-wide coalition of healthcare providers and other organizations.
