Boston (SmartAboutHealth) - Researchers have come out and confirmed that they have found a link between missing DNA, and severe childhood obesity. The research was carried out by scientists from Britain, and focused on around 300 children, with an average weight of 220 pounds and an average age of 10-years old. The hope was that by carrying out the study they would be able to try and find a link between their DNA make-up and their obesity problem. The discovery was that there was missing DNA in all of these kids, and the DNA that was missing was said to be the same. The issue here is that without this DNA, the kids are not able control their appetite, meaning they do not detect that they are full. The missing DNA was said to be vacant in 99% of 1,200 obese children. Read Childhood Obesity
