Children struggling with their weight will soon be able to join a new boarding school aimed at tackling the issue of obesity in youngsters. Opening in the Lake District and run by US company Wellspring Academies, the independent school will welcome children and young adults aged between 11 and 18 who are nine kilograms overweight, the Guardian reports. Elsewhere in the country, parents are to be sent a letter detailing their child's weight from schools starting this September, the Independent on Sunday revealed yesterday. Read Childhood Obesity
